In August 2011, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu made her major debut with the mini-album “Moshi Moshi Harajuku”, produced by Yasutaka Nakata. Since 2013, she has successfully completed five world tours.
In 2020, she was selected by Lady Gaga as one of the powerful women around the world for the “Women of Choice” playlist, curated in celebration of International Women’s Day. Her creativity and self-expression, unbound by societal norms, have drawn attention both in Japan and abroad.
In April 2022, she performed at Coachella, one of the world’s largest music festivals, headlining the GOBI Stage for two consecutive weekends. The live performances were streamed on YouTube, captivating audiences worldwide.
Later that year, in November, she also shared the stage with Katy Perry at the TRUE COLORS FESTIVAL – the Festival of Super Diversity.
In 2023, she embarked on another world tour, performing across seven cities in Europe and the United States.
