In addition to the recently announced FALL OUT BOY and OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM, we are pleased to announce 16 more groups that will add color to this year's SUMMER SONIC.

THE PRODIGY (Tokyo only), the pinnacle of genre-transcending dance-rock, will finally return to SUMMER SONIC, having restarted after Keith's death.
Pop icon CAMILA CABELLO got her big break as a member of the international girl group Fifth Harmony and has continued to be active since her solo debut. aespa, the hottest global group that made its debut in Japan last year, will perform at SUMMER SONIC Tokyo.
 And CHANMINA, a trilingual rapper/singer who skillfully handles Japanese, Korean, and English, who is attracting attention both at home and abroad, will be at SUMMER SONIC Osaka. J BALVIN is a Latin artist who has had hit after hit all over the world. Singer-songwriter BEABADOOBEE, who is popular not only with Gen-Z but also with all generations, and others will play a central role on each stage.
BABYMETAL has become a global metal band with successful arena tours overseas. BLOC PARTY, one of the leading UK rock bands of the 2000s, is currently on a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic album "Silent Alarm". DOMi & JD BECK, rising stars of the jazz scene with an overwhelming presence of KAWAII x superb technique. ELIJAH WOODS is a multi-platinum pop artist from Canada. INFINITY SONG, a quintet from New York that sublimates traditional R&B into a contemporary sound. JORJA SMITH, the pride of the U.K. R&B world, had a successful solo performance last year. KATSEYE is a hot girl group formed by a diverse group of members from six different cities. LANA, a new generation icon of the music scene who will perform at the Nippon Budokan in April. Producer/creator PORTER ROBINSON, whose solo visit to Japan in February is still fresh in our minds, and singer/songwriter WALLICE, who debuted on the popular Dirty Hit label with THE 1975.

Tickets, which were sold out in both Tokyo and Osaka last year, will be available from March 1 (Sat) for Creativeman members with a discount, and from March 12 (Wed) for official pre-orders with a variety of attractive benefits.

SUMMER SONIC, which made a successful comeback in 2022 after overcoming the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, has sold out for 3 consecutive years. In Osaka, now held at the newly relocated Expo'70 Commemorative Park, the event received tremendous praise and was highly successful, and the summer party that brings together artists and audiences from Japan and around the world will return this year in 2025.

In response to Green Day’s 60,000 capacity sold-out Japan tour, Fall Out Boy and Official Hige Dandism were announced last week. Today’s announcement also added 16 more acts, including The Prodigy, Camila Cabello, aespa, and Chanmina, gradually revealing the festival’s lineup. Another headliner will be announced in the second week of March, and in the third week, SONICMANIA lineup will be revealed, with everything moving quickly as the festival approaches.

SUMMER SONIC is a festival that listens closely to its audience, constantly reflecting and improving. Last year in Tokyo, a stadium allowed the bringing of sports drinks (other than water) and set up water stations throughout the venue. With the goal of creating the most comfortable festival experience, Makuhari Messe’s indoor areas will be enhanced for greater comfort, while the beach area will be made more conceptual and open. In Osaka, under the symbolic and fantastic space of Expo'70 Commemorative Park, the festival will offer even more freedom for everyone to spread their wings.

Now entering its 24th year, who knows what kind of new drama will unfold? Many pioneers, like Radiohead and Green Day, have helped shape the festival’s history, while new heroes, like THE 1975 and Måneskin, have emerged.
