In addition to the sixth additional artist for SUMMER SONIC, the stage-by-stage line-up is now available.

In addition to the MARINE STAGE, which will appear inside the powerful ZOZOMARINE STADIUM, Tokyo’s outdoor stage, the BEACH STAGE, which will also be immersed in a chill mood, will appear on a sandy beach this year. It is rare to find an area of a festival where you can feel so close to the sea, even from a global perspective, and this is a rare STAGE that is unique to SUMMER SONIC.

The MOUNTAIN STAGE, which is the heart of SUMMER SONIC, and the PACIFIC STAGE, where artists from all over the world, including Asia, gather, The artists will perform on six stages, each with its own character, including Spotify RADAR: Early Noise Stage, produced by Spotify and SUMMER SONIC.

The Osaka venue, which is moving to Expo ’70 Commemorative Park this year, will feature four outdoor stages: the AIR STAGE, which can accommodate tens of thousands of people; the SONIC STAGE, which will appear in the lap of the Tower of the Sun; the spacious MOUNTAIN STAGE; and the MASSIVE STAGE, where you can get up close to the artists. The stages will be available. The new Osaka festival venue is easily accessible, and you can look forward to a new stage area that is in the heart of the city, yet overflowing with a sense of freedom.

The 6th additional performers are: WEST. who gave a hot performance in their first appearance last year in Osaka on 17 (Sat) August and in Tokyo on 18 (Sun) August, a five-piece rock band from Okinawa that suits BEACH and will surely get you excited with their well-known classic songs. ORANGE RANGE, and Tele, whose literary lyrics and overwhelming presence attracts the support of young people, have been confirmed.

On 18 (Sun) August in Tokyo, BMSG POSSE, a group of five solo artists with roots in HIP HOP and R&B, will perform from BMSG led by HYDE and SHY-HI, who is one of Japan’s leading vocalists and also fascinates audiences with his unique world view in his solo activities.

In addition, this year’s SUMMER SONIC which will be held in Bangkok for the first time, will also feature three of Thailand’s leading artists: BODYSLAM, a rock band with a delicate melody line and layered sound that is very popular locally, on 8/18 (Sun) August in Tokyo. VIOLETTE WAUTIER, a singer and actress with a diverse background, on 8/17 (Sat) in Tokyo and 8/18 (Sun) in Osaka, and THE TOYS, a singer who is also active as a music producer, will perform on 8/17 (Sat) in Tokyo

On 17 Aug (Sat) in Osaka, Chevon, a rock band that has suddenly appeared on the music scene and whose distinctive vocals are hard to take your eyes off, Enfants, a rock band featuring Dai Matsumoto (Vo&Gt), formerly of LAMP IN TERREN, whose one-of-a-kind sound has attracted attention from around the world. Girls’ loud rock band HANABIE. The band’s performance has been confirmed.

In Osaka on 18 (Sun) 8/18 (Sat), “ano” music project ano, whose looks and distinctive character traits are ardently popular among the younger generation; Little Glee Monster, an ever-evolving female vocal group formed on the theme of leaving their mark on people’s hearts with their sharpened singing voice; NIKO NIKO TAN TAN, a unit that creates its own music, video and art and produces a genre-less “mixture” of creativity, and a four-piece rock band from Osaka that sings about never-ending youth, will be performing at the Derenno!?SUMMER SONIC!? and the award-winning HUMBREADERS have also been selected.

Also at SUMMER SONIC Tokyo, following on from last year, a collaborative stage with Spotify, Spotify RADAR: Early Noise Stage, will be held.
The next generation of artists Spotify is looking out for include Yo-Sea, RIKONDENSETSU, JUMADIBA, MFS and ako on 17 August (Sat),
In addition, there will be performances by kZm, LEX and JJJ in [+81 Connect Live: after hours], derived from the playlists in Spotify, which is a source of Japanese hip-hop culture.

Natori, Omoinotake, TOMOO, Tele, jo0ji, SABASISTER and noa will perform on 18 (Sun) August. Look forward to a special stage that embodies the programme ‘RADAR: Early Noise’, which supports up-and-coming artists in Japan.

Tele and SABASISTER will also perform on 17 Aug (Sat) and RIKONDENSETSU in Osaka on 18 Aug (Sun).
