It's August and SUMMER SONIC/SONICMANIA is just around the corner. So for those of you who are bracing yourself for news of a heat wave across Japan, here's what we've learned about how to cope with the heat, which has improved since last year.

SUMMER SONIC TOKYO）

As a matter of concern from last year, the ZOZOMarine Stadium Arena has given permission for sports drinks and unsweetened tea to be brought into the arena, in addition to water, after discussions with the venue. Drinks are sold in each area and free water stations have been set up, so please drink plenty of water.
In order to eliminate queues the day before or early in the morning, we will be selling numbered tickets for the first time in the morning, so we ask for your cooperation.We also don't want people to have to wait in long queues under the hot sun, so we are moving the outdoor sales area and luggage storage area to the indoor, air-conditioned Halls 9-10 of Makuhari Messe, where there will also be an additional rest area.
Please continue to use the free shuttle buses between the Marine Stadium and the Messe.

SUMMER SONIC OSAKA）

The new Osaka venue has more shade than Maishima, thanks to the thicker trees, and the grass and grass on the ground provide ample space to sit and rest. There is also a tent area, which is not available in Tokyo, so please make use of it as your own resting base.
As in Tokyo, drink sales and water stations are located in various places, and the Japanese garden in the park is open for visitors to use as a resting spot.
There are also indoor facilities there.

Another advantage of Summer Sonic as an urban festival, common to both Tokyo and Osaka, is that there are many facilities outside the venues, such as Aeon and Lalaport, which can be used for relaxation and a bit of shopping. You can also use it as a spot to circulate and cool off in your spare time. Our staff will be waiting for you at the venue, making sure you are in good health, and will be on hand to help you and provide first aid. And you too can enjoy the fun of the Summer Festival, taking care to dress well, take what you need with you, and stay hydrated.

Tokyo will announce next week that the long-awaited Comedy Stage will be back, and a Hanamichi will be set up on the Marine Stage.
Osaka will have a new fifth stage, PAVILION, and there will be a huge art installation in the park.
